Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MyDebtFlip™ you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms you may not use the service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Maseba's.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use MyDebtFlip. By using the service you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and will use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

• Free Plan: Budget dashboard, expense tracking (unlimited), savings goals (up to 5), bill reminders (up to 5), debt tracking (up to 2), net worth tracker, and loan calculator (1 calculation) at no cost, with no time limit. No credit card required.
• Pro Plan — Monthly: $9.99/month, billed monthly. Includes AI Coach, loan calculator, financial health score, net worth tracker, debt planner, and all Pro features. Includes a 7-day free trial.
• Pro Plan — Annual: $79.99/year, billed annually (saves 33%). Includes all Pro features. Includes a 7-day free trial.
• Family Plan — Monthly: $14.99/month, billed monthly. Includes all Pro features for up to 5 family members. Includes a 7-day free trial.
• Family Plan — Annual: $129.99/year, billed annually (saves 28%). Includes all Pro features for up to 5 family members. Includes a 7-day free trial.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe on behalf of Maseba's. Charges appear as MASEBAS*MYDEBTFLIP on your statement. Prices are in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes.

4. Free Trial

Pro and Family plans include a 7-day free trial. No credit card charge occurs during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. After the trial period ends, your selected plan will be billed automatically.

Only one free trial is permitted per user account. If you have previously used a free trial, you will be charged immediately upon subscribing.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation you retain access until the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again.

We offer a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. After 7 days, subscription payments are non-refundable. See our Refund Policy for complete details.

6. AI Coach Disclaimer

The AI Financial Coach feature provides general financial information and educational content only. It does not constitute and should not be relied upon as professional financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

The AI Coach's responses are generated by an artificial intelligence system and may not always be accurate, complete, or applicable to your specific situation. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making significant financial decisions. Maseba's is not liable for any decisions made based on AI Coach responses.

7. Your Data and Content

You retain full ownership of all financial data and content you enter into MyDebtFlip. By using the service you grant Maseba's a limited, non-exclusive license to use your data solely to provide and improve the service.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your financial data with third parties except as required to operate the service (see our Privacy Policy). You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use MyDebtFlip for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the service without written permission
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable, uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime. Maseba's is not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability.

10. Intellectual Property

MyDebtFlip™, its logo, design, features, and all content created by Maseba's are the intellectual property of Maseba's and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use, copy, or reproduce any part of the service without express written permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

MyDebtFlip is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that defects will be corrected.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maseba's total cumulative liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total amount you paid to Maseba's in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $100 USD. In no event shall Maseba's be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maseba's from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to contact [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in those courts.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will provide at least 30 days notice via email before the new Terms take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription and stop using the service.
